Devil cuphead12/7/2022 Since Hell is incredibly productive thanks to "his" (read, his imps') hard work, the Devil decides to throw a party in Hell to celebrate, but the obnoxious demonic bureaucrat, Stickler, keeps pestering him on how Cuphead's soul needs collecting so the Devil goes on the prowl, but Cuphead is now wearing a magical invisible sweater that protects him from the Devil and, after various failed attempts to trick Cuphead into taking off the sweater (the episode is really weird out of context), the Devil simply lies to his demons that he got the soul and destroys Stickler's paperwork to buy himself time. Cuphead, however, is such a dumbass that not even with King Dice's blatant rigging does he win and the Devil is disappointed and furious at Dice's failure, demotes him and leaves the show to be hosted by Henchman. The Devil is pissed at this and vows to get the soul of that cup(Head?) like he's due.īut he's still not determined enough to do the dirty work himself and spreads wanted posters for Cuphead, who eventually ends up on "Roll the Dice", a quiz show hosted by King Dice, the Devil's underling, where the winners have their souls stolen. Now that Cuphead owes the Devil his soul, he pursues the two brothers, setting Carnevil ablaze with his trident until Mugman tricks him into destroying Soul Ball and freeing the souls. The Devil decides to take matters into his own hands and confronts the two cups, making a panicked Mugman make Cuphead lose. One day, however, the Devil is peeved to see that noone is playing the games and losing their souls because they're busy looking at Cuphead, who is repeatedly winning at Soul Ball. Like in a lot of Folklore, the Devil here follows more of a Con Artist approach and built a Carnival, unsubtly called Carnevil, in which losing at the various games will result in the unwitting carnival-goers having their souls sucked out and stored in the Devil's infernal vault. He is aided by the demon "Henchman" and hundreds of imps, who he has overworked endlessly for 3000 years. The Devil is the dastardly ruler of the Underworld who specializes in trickery, mostly of the soul-stealing kind. One day, they get in way more trouble than they ever expected when Cuphead falls for a demonic con and his souls falls in the sight of a certain evil-doing daemon. #Devil cuphead seriesThe Cuphead Show! (Starring Mugman) is the animated series adaptation of the videogame Cuphead and follows the titular siblings, the Fun-seeking Cuphead and the more level-headed Mugman, as they roam around the 1930s cartoon-like land of Inkwell Isles, getting into all sorts of shenanigans, often to the exasperation of their elderly caretaker, Elder Kettle.
